CloudSat Data Processing Center (DPC)
The CloudSat DPC is run by the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA), which is a part of the Atmospheric Science Department at Colorado State University (CSU).
Raw CloudSat data are collected and QC'd by the US Air Force in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The data are then forwarded to the CloudSat DPC in Fort Collins, Colorado for the production of many science products.
The CloudSat DPC will process standard products and make them available for distribution to the general scientific community.
Experimental products, however, will be produced and archived by individual scientists (list of these products is expected to grow).
